We are pleased to invite you to the press conference dedicated to the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition
The press conference will take place on February 26, 2019 at 18.00 in the Dress Circle Foyer of the Mariinsky Theatre
Co-chaires of the Organizing Committee of the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition: Olga Golodets, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Valery Gergiev, Artistic and General Director of the Mariinsky Theatre will be speakers at the press conference.

The accredited journalists will be admitted to the Mariinsky Theatre through the main entrance from 17.00 strictly in accordance with the lists.
The XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition will take place in Moscow and Saint Petersburg on June 17 – 29, 2019. For the first time in its history two new specialties, Woodwinds and Brass, will be added to the four existing – Piano, Violin, Cello and Voice.
