Participants in the Second Round of the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition in Voice Category have been Announced
By decision of the jury in the Voice category, the following participants have been admitted to the Second Round of the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition:

Fifty contestants took part in the First Round of the Voice category auditions, which was held from June 18 to 21, 2019 in the Mussorgsky Hall at the New Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre (Mariinsky II). The jury consists of: Sarah Billinghurst Solomon(Jury Chair), Eva Wagner-Pasquier, Evamaria Wieser, Edita Gruberova, Susan Graham, Charles MacKay, Mikhail Petrenko, Matti Salminen, Jonathan Friend, Ferruccio Furlanetto, Albina Shagimuratova, Neil Shicoff.
