Participants in the Third Round of the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition in Brass Category have been Announced
By decision of the jury in the Brass category, the following participants have been admitted to the Third Round of the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition:
- Yun Zeng (China, french horn)
- Aleksey Lobikov (Russia, trombone)
- Zhasulan Abdykalykov (Kazakhstan, trumpet)
- Henrique dos Santos Costav (Portugal, tuba)
- Hae-Ree Yoo (The Republic of Korea, french horn)
- Felix Camille Jean Dervaux (France, french horn)
- Fedor Shagov (Russia, tuba)
- Peter Steiner (Italy, trombone)
- Ansel Owen Norris (USA, trumpet)
Incentive prize as best-performing participants of Round II who do not pass onwards to Round III got Daniel Barth (Germany, tuba) and Kelton James Koch (USA, trombone). As best accompanist in Brass category were named Ksenia Gindina and Polina Grigorieva
