Laureates of the International Competition named after P.I. Tchaikovsky will perform in Vienna
On May 9 in Vienna, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Austria will host a performance by prominent Russian musicians, laureates of the International Competition named after P.I. Tchaikovsky. The concert will be held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Culture ROSKONCERT.
The concert features performances by Alexander Gindin (piano), prizewinner of the X Competition named after P. I. Tchaikovsky (1994); Hike Kazazyan (violin), prizewinner of the XII Competition named after P. I. Tchaikovsky (2002); Alexander Ramm (cello), prizewinner of the XV Competition named after P. I. Tchaikovsky (2015).
The musicians will perform Shostakovich Piano Trio No.2, Valse-scherzo arr.for violin and piano by P.I. Tchaikovsky, a fragment of the Sonata for Violoncello and Piano by S. V. Rachmaninoff. The concert will also feature Sergei Rachmaninoff’s piano pieces with film music from «Seventeen Moments of Spring» by M. L. Tariverdiev arranged for piano, violin and cello.
