The concert will feature a star-team of artists: Liú Shī Kūn (piano), a Chinese pianist and composer, the winner of the 2nd prize of the I International Tchaikovsky Competition, Denis Matsuev, a Russian pianist, winner of the XI International Tchaikovsky Competition, Hibla Gerzmava (soprano), a Russian opera singer, winner of the Grand-Prix of the X International Tchaikovsky Competition, Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar (baritone), a Mongolian opera singer, winner of the Grand-Prix of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition, Alexander Ramm, a Russian cellist, laureate of the 2nd prize of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition, Pavel Milyukov, a Russian violinist, laureate of the 3rd prize of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition.

The Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre is headed by Valery Gergiev, a Co-chair of the Organizing Committee of the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition.
