Musicians from 23 Nations to Grace the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition
The XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition is set to assemble musicians from 23 countries across the globe. The international participants will represent nations as diverse as Russia, Italy, the United States, Serbia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Japan, China, France, United Kingdom, Georgia, Moldova, Germany, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Vietnam, Slovenia, Venezuela, Canada, Costa Rica, and Australia.
A grand ensemble of 236 gifted young musicians will take part in the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition. Among them, 25 pianists, 25 violinists, 25 cellists, 30 female vocalists, and 35 male vocalists. In addition to 48 woodwind and 48 brass instruments musicians.
