This year the concerts will take place in 7 cities of Russia.

The program of each concert is formed individually, taking into account the request of the audience in each region. This is why the concert in Tambov will feature works by P.I. Tchaikovsky and S.V. Rachmaninoff - two great composers whose lives and creative activities are connected with the Tambov Governorate. Here Pyotr Tchaikovsky worked on several operas, Symphonies No 2 and 3, Fantasy-overture The Tempest and many other pieces. Sergei Rachmaninoff visited the village of Ivanovka near Tambov for 27 years - there he created his outstanding musical masterpieces. On 7 May, the 1st prize winner of the IV All-Russian Music Competition Mikhail Usov (violin), 1st prize winner of the III All-Russian Music Competition Timofei Dolia (piano), IV prize winner of the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition Ivan Sendetskiy (cello) will take part in the concert on stage of the Tambov State Academic Drama Theater.

The spring concerts of the series will continue in Maikop. On 23 May, laureates of the XVII Tchaikovsky Competition Fedor Osver (oboe), Stanislav Korchagin (piano), Maxim Lisiin (baritone) together with the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra will perform in the Great Hall of the State Philharmonic of the Republic of Adygea.

Further, this successful project will be continued in Veliky Novgorod, Staraya Russa, Khabarovsk, Blagoveshchensk and Penza.

The concerts are organized by the ANO “Novy Vek” on behalf of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation with the assistance of the Federal State Budgetary Institution ROSCONCERT.
