On November 16, Nizhny Novgorod will host a classical music concert, the Verdi Gala. The winners of international competitions, including the winner of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition, soloist of the Mariinsky Theater, and star of the world opera stage, Yulia Matochkina, will perform at the Pakgauzy Cultural Center within the framework of the annual project Concert Programs by Women Conductors, Choreographers, Musicians, and Soloists. The choir and La Voce Strumentale orchestra of the A.S. Pushkin State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater in Nizhny Novgorod will also take the stage at the concert . The Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Sabriye Bekirova will be at the conductor’s stand. The program includes vocal and orchestral scenes from the most famous operas by Giuseppe Verdi. The event was organized by the ANO "Kulturnaya Zhizn" with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Federal State Budgetary Cultural Institution ROSCONCERT.
